Most of us always throw away fruit peels without a second thought. After all, they are not edible and so they belong to the waste bin. Right?

Not exactly. You’ll be amazed by these surprising uses of what we use to think of as waste!

Orange peel: Add them into meat dishes for a wonderful citrus flavour and an equally appealing aroma.

Lemon or lime peels: Wipe your counter tops with these peels to keep them clean and fresh, while smelling absolutely great at the same time!

Watermelon shell: Put that creative mind to good use by making a bowl out of the gorgeous green watermelon shell! Once you’ve removed all the flesh from it, use a knife to carve out the sides into pretty designs, which doesn’t always have to be intricate, and serve your fruit salad in it
